FREE Community Cat Sterilizations for Zip Codes 96817, 96818, and 96819
The "Kokua for Kalihi Kitties" program is a joint venture between the Hawaiian Humane Society and CatFriends. With a grant from PetSmart Charities, all unowned (community) and free-roaming cats in these areas are eligible for free sterilization. This program will continue until funding is exhausted.

When all appointments are filled, the dates are removed.

The Hawaiian Humane Society also does spay/neuter for "Kokua for Kalihi Kitties" spay/neuter. Call 356-2239 for an appointment. Their program operates independently from CatFriends clinics.
$5 FERAL Cat Spay/Neuter Special Has Ended
CatFriends mission is to promote TNRM (Trap, Neuter, Return, and Manage) and, as much as we tried to keep our fees low, we are sorry to announce that FERAL (Community) cat spay/neuter will be $15.
PET cat spay/neuter fees are $65 and includes a microchip.
We recommend that you register ASAP because appointment slots fill up quickly. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and only for the days listed.
If you register online, please make sure you specify the correct clinic date. If you wish to register for more than one clinic, you should register for each date separately. Your registration receive date will be used to determine the order in which requests are accepted.

REGISTRATION for the above clinics are LIMITED and you must have an appointment. WALK INS will not be accepted.
** FEES **
Pets: $65 (includes microchip) Ferals: $15 (includes microchip)
** RESTRICTIONS **
The following restrictions apply to all participants:
PET cats must arrive in an animal (cat or dog) carrier..
FERAL cats must arrive in a humane trap.
All cats should arrive in a carrier/trap that is in good working order.
We reserve the right to determine whether a cat is feral or a pet. If a cat is deemed friendly by the on-site veterinarian, the pet rate will apply.
We also reserve the right to turn away any cat determined to be a "risk" for surgery.
** HOW TO REGISTER **
Discounted fees are available for caretakers with Hawaii EBT card. To be eligible for this discount:
You must present your EBT card and a valid picture ID upon clinic check-in.
EBT cardholder/colony caretaker must personally check in the cat(s)in order to receive the discount.
